Hajime Sengyo-ten’s scallop is great all the same.
I visited for lunch at Hajime Sengyo-ten the other day.
If I feel like eating raw seafoods at workdays lunchtime, I usually visite the shop,
It is a stand-up-eating shop, and at night it run as stand-up-drinking shop with fresh seafoods.
At lunchtime the shop serves lunch set only for 20 persons in all.
The shop serves the day’s good seafoods lunch set, so the menu changes everyday.
That day’s lunch menus …
Boiled sardines and sea urchin bowl (上しらす、うに丼) 1000 yen
Marinated raw horse mackerel and scallops bowl (真あじづけ生ほたて丼) 1000 yen
I choiced a Marinated raw horse mackerel and scallops bowl because I was satisfied with good raw scallops at the shop last time.
Pickled daikon radish and fried burdock and carrot.
And my bowl came.
Lightly pickled horse mackerel was so fresh and tasty. Well, scallops were good, too 🙂
The rice under the raw seafoods was very hot. It was freshly cooked. I want it more cool. Or fresh seafoods is going to be steamed 😛
