[Florence] To Ponte vecchio in Florence in Italy

ITALY

I went toward Ponte Vecchio to eat gelato after viewing Giotto’s Campanile. But somehow the more I walked, the less tourists along the street. I was anxious. And I understood. I took wrong way :p So, I asked a woman who walked with her dog the way to the Ponte Vecchio. She said it’s opposite direction and showed me to the way in detail.

Thanks to the kindly lady, I could find Ponte Vecchio in safe (Though I took so much time)

There’re souvenir shops on the bridge. Because of deflation in Japan nowadays, I feel everything is expensive in another countries.

And also I could find my target gelato shop. Gelateria Santa Trinita.

I couldn’t choose one from so many flavors and asked the lady what is her recommendation. She answered “everything”… ! So, anyway, I chose bright color “Fragora” and my delight “Tiramisu”. Both was delicious. Speaking of sweets in Italy, tiramisu occur me. I love it.

As a whole, everyone was kind to me in Italy. I was very anxious that I heard Italy have high crime rate like pickpocket in advance. But everything was safe at least during my trip.

On my way to lunch spot, I found Dante’s house by chance. Truthfully speaking, at first, I searched for this house. But I couldn’t find and I gave up.

My target lunch spot was All’ Antico Vinaio. I bought panino at this shop. I found this shop on Trip Advisor. I wanted to have lunch at restaurant if I had time, but I lost much time because I lost my way.

I have poor eyesight and I couldn’t see menus clearly. I had no idea what to do in front of the case that have a variety of ingredients. The man said to me, “Do you have no idea ? I’ll make you special one !”. So I left everything to him !

Maybe visitors can order some ingredients and they cook one panino properly. Huge panino ! The size of it was about the same as my face ! 5 euro sharp ! I ate it at chair outside the shop. Certainly, it was delicious. The ham, meat and sauce ! Everything was good ! But I left about half of it because it was too big for me all the same.

So I entered the shop again and got a bag to go. I brought it to my hotel. Yes, the leftover was my night meal. This made me entirely full and I was still full next morning. So I couldn’t eat breakfast much.

After that I went toward Piazzale Michelangelo with light heart. I hadn’t thought that there was such a long uphill road. I regretted strongly on the way. But it was well worth trouble !
This fine view welcomed me !

Overwhelming presence, Michelangelo viewing mountains !

After that I bought something at supermarket as souvenir and went back to our appointed place. We went toward Rome by bus. But ! The driver dropped in at Piazzale Michelangelo for us ! Oh my ! Everyone might not to know I felt disappointed a little :p But darker view was good, too.

We arrived at our hotel in Rome late at night. Ibis Roma Fiera (Hotels.com” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener” title=””>Hotels.com, expedia). My room was like training room or apartment. Umm. I heard this desk said to me “Lets study harder here !”.

      Hi, Welcome to my blog.
The jelly you have bought is Shinoadore circulist ?
As you think, it is drinkable loose jelly.
I have drunk this jelly ever 🙂
Open the cap and suck from there directly.

Shiseido says drinking one portion everyday is effective for your skin. Enjoy it 🙂
