When I feel like having breakfast at Tsukiji, anyway I go toward Yonehana. My friend usually tweets about the chef’s choice of the day before I get to Tsukiji, so I can decide where to go before I get to the market. I avoid something that take much time to eat because I’m before work. That day, I slightly wanted to go to Yajima to eat oyster ramen, but I saw my friend’s tweet and decided to go to Yonehana (米花) directly.

“No photographs”. It means that they prohibit people outside (who aren’t their guests) take the photos of inside of the shop. Well, Yonehana looks quite differ from another eateries, so I agree pedestrians want to take the photo 😛 But he thinks guests and staffs are not meant to be shows.

This is the chef’s choice that attracted me on the twitter that day ! Especially, I wanted to eat sea urchin at Yonehana because we told about that recently Yonehana serves sashimi bowl that have sea urchin just before the day.

Tuna and sea urchin with grated yam ! Oh my ! Gorgeous ! There were four slices of thicker tuna (one was covered with the grated yam)

And plenty of sea urchin ! This was sweet and there was no fishy smell ! But I wanted to eat sea urchin apart from yam and tuna, so I migrated sea urchin by the side.

The side dish was oden(-like food). It was larger than main dish…. I haven’t seen such a huge oden !

By the way, recently Yonehana delights that crab season has opened. I think they are going to serve crabs as chef’s choice soon. I don’t like Yonehana serves crab as chef’s choice. So, when they serve crab, I can’t go there. Of course, I love crab. But there’s no time to pick crabs meat so slowly early in the morning. I’ll be late for work !
