Tsukiji : Winter tastes at Yamadaya (やまだや)

Oyster, yellowtail, soft roe, snow crab… luxury winter dinner !

My friend invited me to Yamadaya in Tsukiji again and went to there excitedly 😀
This was the seventh visit for me. It was just time for female crab !

As cover carge, boiled yellowtail and daikon radish with soy sauce (Buri daikon) was served.

I think they served it three times in a row 🙂

Lightly grilled salted young tuna with black pepper(わら焼メジマグロの塩タタき黒こしょう和え, 1365 yen),
tilefish from Sajima (佐島産甘鯛, 1365 yen), Vinegared mackerel from Wakayama (和歌山産〆サバ, 997 yen) ,
yellowtail from Shimane (島根産ブリ, 1200 yen)

Gorgeous ! Young tuna was the best in the dish 😀 So fatty.

Probably, this was the first time to eat Shogo-in Kabura. It’s one of Kyo-yasai (Kyoto vegetables).

It was the source for soft roe gyoza… But I didn’t use it because the soft roe gyoza was enough good without the sauce.

これつけて食べるみたいですが、そのままでおいしかったので使ってません。

High quality female crab (特選セイコカニ, 1680 yen)
Needless to say, it was good because it’s just season for female crab !

I hadn’t seen such a huge deep fried oyster !!!! One deep fried oyster had two big oysters ! Incredible !

Scallop cream croquette (手作りほたてがいクリームコロッケ, 840 yen per 4 pieces )
It’s a section of the croquette. Some pieces of scallops were in it.

Dark meat of Iyo Suigun Dori chicken karaage(伊予水軍鶏のモモ唐揚げ, 1365 yen)
My friend who sat next to me ordered his rice and eat with karaage. I wanted to do so if I had big stomach like him 😛 Karaage go with rice well 🙂
