Delicious ramen shop and also popular sightseeing spot.

Finally, I ate awesome toripaitan ramen that have great popularity.

Ginza Kagari.

ついに、「銀座 篝」の鶏白湯ラーメンを食べてきました!

They have started their business in 2013. They soon won them popularity. I know people used to have to wait for two or three hours.

There are long lines in front of the shop at lunchtime now, too.
But when I got to there after work on workday, it was past 6 p.m.
There were only (only ?) 7 people in front of the shop.
Almost all people seemed to be tourists from abroad.

Attention. There’re some rules to wait in line. The shop stand along the narrow alley. So, staffs watch line carefully lest they are trouble for people nearby.

Great number of tourists from abroad visit this shop, so attention is written in both English and Japanese.

Menu, too. The staff handed it to me while waiting and he took my order after a while.
Of course, I ordered Toripaitan ramen as planned. With soft-boiled egg.

There’s no ticket vending machine. We pay money at the table when we stand up to leave.

There are only 8 seats. I waited for 20 minutes or so, and then the staff led me to the seat.
I already ordered my ramen while waiting, so condiments for toripaitan ramen was served as soon as I was seated.
Deep fried onion and grated ginger.

This is the Toripaitan ramen (鶏白湯SOBA, 980 yen) with soft-boiled egg (味玉, 120 yen) that I had wanted to have for a long time !
It had chicken breast meat and seasonal vegetables on it.
Seasonal vegetables were green asparagus, cherry tomato, young corn, radish sprouts and so on.

Narrow and straight noodles dressed with thick toripaitan soup was tasty. The toripaitan soup was rich and creamy. Though it had much salt and fat, I could eat it  smoothly.

Added deep fried onion and grated ginger. The ginger added it refreshing taste. Toripaitan soup is basically have thick taste, so it’s good idea to change the tastes and add refreshing tastes on the way.

Though I can’t eat so much, if you have enough space in your stomach, please try ordering rice and adding the toripaitan soup into the rice bowl and eating it like porridge. 😉

I want to try bonito (niboshi) soup ramen next time.
Only 20 – 30 minutes wait doesn’t bother me. (Though I never wait for 2-3 hours)
