Precious steak in the shanty.
First meal at Kanazawa was at this shanty in the residential district :p
It took about 20 minutes from Kanazawa station by bus.
Beef steak Hiyoko
I remember Kuwon that I ate ramen at Fukushima was like this :p
But this shop serve beef steak that cost 9000 yen only (not inexpensive ramen). The shop is narrow and there were only about 8 seats along the counter table surrounding the kitchen.
As soon as we said that we reserved in advance and were seated, the lady served salad and hand towel to us.
Tomato and cucumber. Those were fresh.
And the chef started to cook meat in front of us with iron plate.
The meats were marinated with oil in the plastic box.The smell was good 🙂
After 10 minutes or so, our steaks were served.
300g of Kuroge Wagyu beef steak (黒毛和牛ビーフステーキ300ｇ, 9000 yen)
And shiitake mushroom, onion, eggplant, potato, sweet chili.
Those rare steak was so soft and delicious. But 300g was too much for me all the same. I got tired of eating it on the way :p
But I managed to eat the steak up and gave some vegetables to my friend.
I think it go with rice very well, but they don’t serve rice.
Because there are only 8 seats, you’d better reserve in advance. Though a man who didn’t reserve in advance visited the shop while eating and they could eat. But the shop is far from the station and there is no outstanding shop except Hiyoko.
By the way Hiyoko means chick in English. They named their name because there used to be stall named “Hiyoko” and they started to their business in place of the stall. It’s been since 50 years ago.
