Tsukiji is great all the same 🙂
Recently I can’t wake up early, but I want to go Tsukiji for breakfast once a week.
I went to Yonehana last week, and Tenfusa this week.
June 11st Yonehana (Chef’s choice)
When I got to the shop, the waiter was out to restroom just a moment.
So, I waited for a while with hot tea and seeing menus written in various languages.
Today’s chef’s choice was
boiled splendid alfonsino with soy sauce (金目鯛の煮付け).
This boiled was tasty, but I want to eat grilled splendid alfonsino…
By the way, its skin is the favorite part of the splendid alfonsino 😛
And three foods on one dish.
Grilled fish (sardine ?), shrimp salad with mayonnaise and fish cake.
From the sky ! 😛
I love Yonehana’s liver yakitori ! Those medium rare liver was good 🙂
June 19th Tenfusa (Tuna set and young sweetfish tempura)
I was a first comer that day !
I had one food that I had wanted to eat very much, so I came to Tenfusa.
But that day, I didn’t feel like eating much deep fried foods. So, I ordered a sashimi set.
Tuna set (まぐろ定食, 1000 yen)
Plenty of tuna. It might be bigeye tuna ?
The set have small portion of tempura. But the sauce was thick. There was soy sauce seasonings for tempura (called “Tentsuyu”), so I wanted eat those tempura with it, too.
A, why I got soy sauce seasonings is …
Young sweet fish (sweet fish = ayu), 稚鮎天, 400 yen)
The waitress gave the soy sauce seasonings to me for eating it.
I wasn’t interested in it at first, but deep fried sweetfish that I had eaten at Yachiyo was so tasty, and I wanted to eat “young” sweet fish, too 🙂
Those were too small, but those meats were soft. It had bitterness and sweetness 🙂
I ate one with salt, and another with soy sauce seasonings. I like eating it with soy sauce seasonings 🙂
Those pictures made me feel like eating it again … 🙁
This is a seasonal tempura, so I’m afraid it might be already out of the menu.
Ah, I have to go work tomorrow though I was on sick leave today.
Umm. IIt’s mentally hard…
