After we got out of Banteay kdei, we went to Ta Prohm. Speaking Ta Prohm, this huge tree is so famous. The tree took over the temple completely.

Even Buddha statues were swallowed up in the huge tree.

This temple is said to be built as Buddhist temple at first, but it was repaired as Hindu temple afterward. And the inscription says that there were 3140 villages within the yard.

Souvenir shop was in front of the temple. Smells of fruits under the blazing sun made me feel sick…  Well, I don’t go near fruits in the supermarket when it is summer in Japan though it work air-conditioner well…

Terrace of the Elephants.

Terrace of the Leper King seen from Terrace of the Elephants.

He is the Leper King.

After that we had lunch. Our lunch was Thai Suki. This Thai suki was added the restaurant’s own changes in order to fit Japanese people’s tastes. Umm. Our travel agency ! I wanted to eat Khmer foods more.

Angkor beer.

After finished eating the ingredients, the waitress cooked rice porridge with the leftover soup in the pot. Of course, this Thai suki was good.
