Notice : Their Lunch course is now 3900 yen.
(February 15th, 2019)
I took a day off the other day and went to sushi restaurant in Omotesando area.
Okeisushi is so fancy restaurant and it cost us around 30000 yen at dinner time.
But at lunchtime, they serve lunch course with 2800 yen (plus 8% tax). Reservations is acceptable. There are only counter seats

Where?
It’s located along Gaien-Nishi street. It’s a little far from station. The closest station is Gaienmae subway station.
Lunch course
We reserved lunch course in advance on phone, so as soon as we were seated, the salad was served.

Our course started with Salad (サラダ) and shijimi clam (しじみ汁) soup.

Salmon roe dressed with wasabi-duke (いくらとわさび漬け和え)
Wasabi-duke is pickled Japanese Horseradish.

sardine (いわし). As you see, so fatty sardine. The fat reflects.

Marinated lean meat of tuna (マグロ赤身の漬け). This was the best in all foods that I had at this restaurant that day.

Minced sea bream and abalone innards. This is their specialty. But to be honesty, I couldn’t understand the tastes… Umm.

sea urchin (うに). It’s a little bitter… I don’t like it.

Shrimp (海老) was sweet and tasty. That’s good.

Boiled clam with soy sauce (煮蛤). The flavor of shell was awesome.

Negitoro roll (ねぎとろ巻き). Their tuna was good all the same.

Flat fish (平目)

Miso soup (みそ汁)

This course was not bad, but they save money for serving at lunchtime at lower price than dinner time all the same.
So, for enjoying Okeisushi’s adorable sushi, we have to visit there at dinner time. But 30000… Umm.
