I felt like eating Hiyajiru a few days ago. And I searched for it on the internet and found good shop. They serve hiyajiru at lunchtime.
It’s name is “ Hijiri-tei.
Hijiri-tei is close to Daimo station (metro). Also you can get to there from Hamamatsucho station, too. It’s really close to Shiba Daijingu Shrine.
It is small shop having counter seats and some tables only.
Though they are open as izakaya at dinner time, they have lunch menu on weekdays’ lunchtime.
There’re only two names on the menu. 30 sets only in total. Hiyajiru is there !
*Simmered chicken ball and tofu
*Hiyajiru set(included half size of chicken ball)
Hiyajiru is served in summer only.
This is Hiyajiru set (冷汁セット, 1000 yen).Hiyajiru is local foods of Miyazaki prefecture. It is the hiyajiru. Lots of myoga and perilla on it. Hiyajiru is cold miso soup having cucumber and many condiments. Mostly we put the rice into the soup. (or its conversion)
