Which do you prefer, Japanese tantanmen or Chinese dandan noodles ?
I’m always suffering from freezing cold weather these days….
-4 degrees Celsius ! Oh my ! Here’s not snow country !
I feel like eating spicy and hot foods in such a cold air.
Spicy and hot. Yes, Tantanmen noodles and dandan noodles are best choice !
Chinese restaurant Fuxue serve tantanmen noodles and dandan noodles during lunchtime.
It was Saturday and there were few people in this area because it is business districts.
But just after we got to there 10 minutes before the opening time, a man followed us. And there were about 10 people when the shop was open.
We bought both dandan noodles (汁なし担々麺, 820 yen) and tantanmen noodles (担々麺, 820 yen) tickets at the ticket vending machine for sharing them.
I love dandan noodles, so I ate it mainly. With Jasmine rice (Small, ジャスミンライス, 50 yen).
This shallow dish is hard to mix 🙁
Mixed altogether. Though it was good, I like Aun and Manzan far better.
It wasn’t enough spicy for me.
