Unexpectedly deep fried oysters were served in such a warm season
Recently I’m surprised that I often see “Deep fried oyster” on the menu even such a warm season.
I thought deep fried oyster is served only in cold season.
At Tsukiji, Odayasu served deep fried oysters until quite recently.
And I saw the words at the restaurant, too. And I decided to have lunch there.
Torigen Funabashi Face branch
It is under ground of the building that connect Keisei station and JR station.
There used to be one of my favorite Korean foods restaurant …. 🙁
But now it has changed to Indian foods restaurant. So, I entered another restaurant for the first time.
It took much time my deep fried oysters to be served. I understand deep fried foods take much time to be cooked 😉
Almost all people that day ordered soba or oyakodon. Their foods were served fast.
By the way,
This is my Deep fried oysters set (kaki furai set, カキフライ定食, 820 yen)
Four smaller deep fried oysters, miso soup, pickled vegetables, rice and tororo.
I worried about those oysters because I thought it is not best season for oysters.
But those were delicious. There was no problem.
But oysters were small all the same.
I would have no idea how to eat rice if there was no tororo.
I was happy that I could eat deep fried oysters.
But I want to eat karaage and this cold soba !
