Tsukiji Market : Tenfusa started to serving young ayu !

Young ayu, scallop and tidepool gunnel tempura

Ayu season has set in!

I went to Tenfusa to eat young ayu tempura early in the workday morning.

But I couldn’t know whether Tenfusa serve young ayu or not the day until I reached there.

I felt ill at ease….

But I found the word “稚鮎 (Young ayu)” on the today’s menus.

「稚鮎」ミツケタ♪

Tuna sashimi set (まぐろ定食, 1000 yen)
Tasted good as usual.

相変わらず美味しい天房のまぐろ定食

Young ayu (稚鮎, 400 yen), and tidepool gunnel (銀宝, 400 yen) and scallop(ホタテ天, 400 yen) tempura
Tidepool gunnel is similar to the taste of conger eel.

ゴーカに季節の天ぷらを持ってもらいました！銀宝は少し穴子に似ています（`･ω･´）

Its head was bitter and the meat was soft.
Last year I ate it for the first time and I was very impressed by the taste.
As you see, young ayu is very small but this small fish have much tastes 😀

とっても小さいけれど、この小さい中に旨みが沢山(*´д｀*)
