Some restaurants will accept you being late
Long time has passed since I visited Tsukiji on Saturdays last time.
My friend said he want to eat at Kato. The appointed time was 9 a.m.
I thought there must have much people….
Actually, Tsukiji at 9 a.m. on Saturday was so crowded !
Almost all eateries had much people waiting in front of each doors.
So, he decided to go to Isonoya that didn’t have much people waiting because it is rather large eatery compared with another eateries in Tsukiji.
いまは土曜の築地に９時につくと行き場所がほとんどないのです～(つд⊂)というわけで救世主の磯野家。
Sardine and bonito sashimi (いわしとかつおの刺身ミックス, 760 yen)
Both were fatty !
どちらも脂がのってておいしかったです(*´д｀*)
Fried squid with butter (イカバター, 700 yen)
イカバターもおいしい。大好物！
I love squid and one of my best favorite way of eating squid it it. Fried it with butter.

Isonoya is on the 2nd floor of the building. The building have Isozushi on the 1st floor. Those are managed by the same man.
Isonoya serves Japanese, Chinese and Western foods ! They have three chefs for each species of foods 🙂
We didn’t eat rice because we planned to go another restaurant.
I was satisfied with those foods, but to tell the truth, I can go there on any weekdays before work !
So, I felt something sorrow …
After that we went to Totoya, outside the market.
前に一度来たことのあるとゝや。
My Yakitori bowl (焼き鳥丼, 1150 yen)
Long long absence since I ate it last. 7 years or so, I visited there at lunchtime while working. The chickens were so juicy as last time.

My friend’s Service bowl (サービス丼, 1050 yen)
I tasted the tsukune and I didn’t like it because I like more fatty one.
サービス丼のつくねはいまいち。ももはオイシイ。
Of course, Yonehana’s yakitori is awesome. But this shop’s yakitori is good, too 🙂
We also ordered nikogori(にこごり). Nikogori is… well… chicken jelly ?
The chef cool chicken broth and chickens’ skin altogether. And then it become solid like jelly.
It was seasoned with ginger.
煮凝りもおいしかったけど、生姜きかせすぎかな？んまあ、夏だからサッパリしてていいんだけど。
After that we went to Turret coffee as usual.
Chai tea latte (チャイティーラテ, 440 yen)
食後はやっぱりTurret Coffeeで。
We met friends there all the same 🙂
It’s very fun to hear their Tsukiji life at there 🙂
