My longing salted ramen after a year absence.

Yotsuya-sanchome have a popular ramen shop that have long waiting line before opening.
The ramen shop’s name is Ganko. There are some branches, and their master run the Yotsuya’s “Ganko”.

There is no distracting sign about the shop, so I took much time to find the shop.

Much people wait in front of the shop even after 3 p.m.

So, I can’t go to the shop because I hate waiting 😛

They are roughly divided into two ramen in the menus. “100 ramen” and “Jigoku ramen”. Jigoku means hell.
Jigoku ramen may be spicy ? I don’t know.
100 ramen’s “100” means perfect, I think. Not 100 yen 😛

And each of them have “No.1” and “No.2”. But I don’t know the detail. Nothing is written about that on the menus.

I didn’t ask the shopkeeper because he speaks too much that we don’t ask.

Well, this is the 100 ramen (100ラーメン, 800 yen). Wooow…

Covered with roast pork, wonton, green onion, menma and seaweed !
Every ingredients were tasty. Especially, the roast was soft and juicy.

Clearly, and salty salted ramen. I thought if I drink up it, I take too much salt, but I drunk up 😛
After that I drunk water too much.

After eating ramen, I went to Fukunaga fruits parlor. If I drop in at Yotsuya, I can’t help eat parfait at Fukunaga.

Grape parfait (ぶどうパフェ) 950 yen.

Grape parfait might be already ended.  because I heard that my friend eat pear parfait at Fukunaga.

Shine muscat (green), Nagano purple, Kaiji(bright red) and Pione (this side) on it.
It had much sorbet than last year’s. It made a crunchy sound and tasted good.

By the way, today is Beaujolais nouveau day ! Of course I drunk !

Beaujolais nouveau day!

I wish there was a good and cheap ramen shop here in Dubai:)

I always get a bowl of rice when I order ramen so I can eat it with the salty broth. Your ramen looks delicious, I don’t think I’ve ever had one with wontons in it before.

    • Ryoko says:

Do you eat your rice with soup or put your rice into the soup ?
I like my rice put into the soup 🙂

      • lmjapan says:

I’m the opposite of you, I put the soup into my rice. And I only spoon a small amount on top so it won’t be quite so salty. I think it’s one of the best ways to finish off a bowl of ramen!
