I know that bakery named Perican in Asakusa have tremendous popularity and it’s very difficult to get their breads without reservation. Perican Cafe (ペリカンカフェ) is managed by Perican and we can enjoy their breads without reservation. I had breakfast at there.

They have wooden tables and chairs. They have cozy atmosphere. When I got to there before 11 a.m. on weekday, there weren’t many people. So, I enjoyed breakfast slowly.

This is the breakfast menu. This is available from 9 – 11 a.m. I got to there just before 11 a.m. and I was anxious that they don’t accept breakfast order, but they accept order of breakfast until 11 a.m. sharp. Charcoal-grilled toast (360 yen), Charcoal grilled toast with beverage (750 yen), ham cutlet sandwich (750 yen), fried ham and egg on toast (570 yen), and fruits sandwich (920 yen).

At first, blend coffee was served after a few minutes. And then fruits sandwich was served. The coffee wasn’t too strong. But it made me wake up clearly.

They say fruits sandwich have about 4-5 kinds of seasonal fruits on the menu. My sandwich had grape, banana, strawberry, kiwi fruits, mango and dragon fruits (6 kinds !). Those sour and sweet fruits went with lightly sweetened whipped cream very well. The bread is not too soft. Springy and good. So, the bread catch the cream. I ate it up soon.

Fruits sandwich is suitable for breakfast all the same ! I felt I did good things for my body ! I think I can wake up earlier on weekends if they are located close to my home !
