Having udon in the morning is one of my aim to visit Osaka. But unfortunately my delight udon shop quit to open in the morning. So, I had to find another good udon shop in hurry. But soon I found. This shop. Udon Kyutaro. Kyutaro sounds cute. I knew their address is kyutaro town. So.
They are open from 7 – 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. So, of course, I visited there in the morning. When I got to there around 8 a.m. on weekday, there were about half of the shop was occupied. The chef worked at my delight Udon Baka Ichidai in Takamatsu and Yoshiya in Marugame. I was sure that I love their udon.
Those are limited menu.
And this is regular menu. Small portion is -50 yen.
There’s no seats. Stand-up-eating shop. I think 8 people can be there.
Seasonings, green onion and tenkasu was put on each table.
I ordered this limited udon. Mizore Tsukimi. Warm and cold can be chosen. So, I ordered cold one. Mizore means grated daikon radish. And tsukimi means yolk. So, it have daikon radish, sprouts, konbu seaweed and raw egg in cold soup.
Because I wasn’t hungry that time, I ordered small one. I really regretted. Awesome ! I could eat normal portion with easily ! The soup had refreshing tastes , the udon had springy texture, and daikon radish and sprout made my mouth refresh. I’m sure that Kyutaro will be my steady breakfast spot in Osaka !
They have a variety of tempura on the shelf at cashier. We can get as we want from there. Everything is 100 yen each. Those tempura got cold. But it was good. I chose squid’s leg. It’s large ! It had springy texture and was good !
