About my breakfast at Tsukiji for about a month
I have been to Tsukiji only three times for breakfast since the middle of last month.
One day, I went to Yonehana for eating Cod roe bowl in the morning.
Is it a crayfish or lobster? It watched for a chance of taking over Yonehana 😛
After all, my breakfast was chef’s choice this time, too.
Saba no misoni (サバの味噌煮) (Boiled mackerel with miso and sugar).
In fact, I ate mackerel at Yonehana two times in a row.
In addition, I ordered a leg meat yakitori seasoned with salt (焼き鳥しお, 200 yen). I wanted to eat a lever yakitori, but there weren’t in the shop this day.
By the way, why I ate chef’s choice though I wanted to eat ikura bowl is….
…because Yonehana raised the price of its ikura bowl from 2000 yen to 2500 yen 🙁
And chef’s choice came while I was shocked about it 😛
And another day I went to Tenfusa for breakfast. For this goby tempura (ハゼ天, 250 yen).
It looks so yummy.
Actually, it was very good 😀
It retained its natural sweetness. Soft and moist.
And tuna set (まぐろ定食, 1000 yen).
This tuna was so-so. Of course it was good as usual, but the raw tuna I ate at Tenfusa last time was excellent. Its taste and looking, beyond description.
After eating that raw tuna, I felt this was on the average.
I eat raw tuna with little soy sauce. I use much wasabi instead.
The waitress said the raw tuna goes with mustard. So, I sometimes ask the waitress for mustard. Actually, I found the raw tuna goes with mustard well. I like the way of eating it. But this time, I didn’t.
Scallop tempura was stuck behind the seaweed laver. At first, I thought it was simple seaweed laver tempura from its looking, but once I put it into my mouth, I found there was a small scallop. I couldn’t taste it well.
