The records of my Tsukiji hour (October and November)
At Tenfusa (October 25)
Tuna sashimi set (まぐろ定食, 1000 yen)
Tempura (I forgot these price.)
Upper left – vegetables and squid.
Upper right – conger eel and asparagus.
Bottom – scallops and prawns.
Prawns were fried together, like a raft.
Sweet scallop !
I never eat these foods all. These foods were for two!
I’m not a big eater 😛
At Odayasu (November 17)
Saturdays’ Tsukiji was so crowded. Almost all shops had guests that were waiting in front of the shop.
B set. Deep fried salmon, globefish and swordfish (B定食, 1300 yen)
The fried swordfish was so fatty but not heavy.
The fried salmon,,, Uh,,, I don’t like the way of eating salmon being fried all the same 🙁
The fried globefish was – the fish had little fat and its texture was soft. The flesh itself tasted thick.
I wanted tartar sauce a lot more 😛
The notice says, “Oysters are at their best just now”.
But I thought it’s too early. So I didn’t eat then nevertheless I like oyster too much.
After Tsukiji, we moved to Monzen-nakacho for eating parfait at Fruits cafe Frutas.
My mango parfait (ブラジルマンゴーのパフェ, 1890 yen) was excellent. The mango was from Brazil.
The ripe mango was so sweet and soft. Mango sauce and mango ice cream in it was tasty, too.
I became thoroughly fascinated by fruits.
