Takahashi opens earlier these days.
I had a breakfast at Tsukiji Market the other day. At first I intended to go to Yachiyo to eat deep fried ayuBut somehow Takahashi opened. Takahashi usually open from 7:30 am. If I start to have breakfast from 7:30 am, I can’t go work on time. So I usually can’t eat at Takahashi on workdays.
I got close to Takahashi, and I found the word “ayu” on the menus. I had wanted to eat grilled ayu at Takahashi for a long time.
I didn’t want to miss the chance, so I decided to enter Takahashi.
Of course, I ordered a grilled salted ayu set (鮎の塩焼き定食) 1000 yen.
Water pepper vinegar. The green color is nice. Dipping ayu meat into this and eating.
But I didn’t need it because the ayu was salted moderately and so fresh.
I ate the ayu as it was.
Burnt smell and taste of ayu was excellent.
Scallops sashimi (ほたて刺身) 600 yen
Conger eels nikogori (Jellied broth, 穴子の煮こごり) 600 yen
Miso soup and boiled pumpkin tasted good, too.
