Basmati rice with four curries !

Well, let me continue the sequel of last post “Autumn flavor at NICO, Indian foods bar (Kiyosumi-shirakawa) 1/2”

Our tandoori dish was ….

これ食べたかったのー。嬉しいヽ(´▽`)ノ

The chef told about the dish on the twitter the other day and I wanted to eat it 😀 I was glad to eat it !
The slices of bonito was cooked as tataki, so those were medium rare. Mint chutney added those bonito more flavor and it was so tasty.

Then, I ordered a lassie (400 yen) for curries 🙂

The rice came. Of course it was basmati rice !

ふかふかのバスマティライス!

The basmati rice was so soft. We asked her how she cook the basmati rice.
She said, “My rice cooker works very well :D”
I heard that it is hard to cook basmati rice by home rice cooker, umm. No doubt She use good business rice cooker 🙂

By the way, basmati rice is so expensive because it is dutiable 🙁

The chef served us every kinds of curries that she prepared that day.

全種類出してくれるそうで、まずきたのはこのカレー!

It had springy shrimps ! and gree chili !

この日のサンバルの中には秋茄子、落花生、百合根と、これまた秋仕様!

The ingredients were autumn eggplant,peanuts and lily bulb.

Wooow, I felt Autumn very much !

Last, Dal and chesnuts Nankin (ダル栗なんきん) came. It was also a curry, but it had sweetness of chesnuts and tasty. It tasted like dessert !
It was similar to “Kuri Kinton” (mashed sweet potatoes with sweetened chestnuts)

最後に来たのは栗の甘味いっぱいの、栗きんとんみたいなデザートカレー!

Saury, chesnuts, autumn eggplant… we enjoyed autumn flavor a lot 🙂
Though I had thought we can feel four seasons only by Japanese foods. But I found it doesn’t !
