Level 6 !?
Recently I feel like eating something spicy foods because of muggy weather.
I remember Sichuan Dandan noodle Aun in Yushima serve perfect spicy noodles.
So, I go there whenever I want to eat absolutely delicious and spicy food 🙂
But long time has passed since I visited there last. Aun has changed a bit.
Their level of spiciness of noodles was from 0 to 5. But they set level 6.
And also amount of Sichuan pepper can be chosen as well as the spiciness.
I had no idea what level I should choose. So, anyway, I chose level 4 as usual (Sichuan pepper, too). And also I ordered extra coriander (+150 yen), too. I thought the extra coriander is expensive a bit compared with another shops.
Dandan noodles level 4 (汁なし担担麺 4辛, 830 yen)
As soon as my noodle was served, I mixed altogether well. Though I ordered coriander, at first, I didn’t use it. Noodles dressed with nuts, mizuna, minced meat, shrimps and spicy sauce had great flavor. Of course, it was spicy, but it was flavory.
I think Aun’s dandan noodles is No.1 for me though I don’t like this wide noodles because it is hard to mix 😮
And after I ate half of it, I put all coriander onto the bowl.
As a result, I think coriander make no sense because it’s too spicy to taste the coriander at all :p
Now there’s Asakusa branch of Aun. And they serve cold tantanmen noodles during warm season. I want to try it !
