Funabashi : Indian curry at Sarnath (サールナート)

Sarnath’s butter chicken curry is awesome

Most popular curry restaurant in Funabashi is the restaurant.

フナバシで一番行列のできるカレー屋さん(；´Д｀)

Especially, at lunchtime, there are much people waiting in front of the restaurant.
But this restaurant is very small like cozy cafe and it takes time to cook, so they usually have to wait about one hour or more.

We went to there 30 minutes before the opening time, and we could entered the restaurant just after opening time:)

Sarnath have only one menus at lunchtime.
Lunch plate (ランチプレート, 1050 yen)
Two curries, rice, naan, salads, achar and yoghourt on the dish.

ランチは１種類です。っていってもカレーは２種類選べますが(*´д｀*)

We can choice two curries from chicken curry, mutton curry, butter chicken curry, egg & vegetable curry and “today’s curry”.
Sarnath’s naan is so huge !

I choiced a butter chicken curry that is most poular curry in the restaurant 🙂

とりあえずバターチキンは食べるよね(*´д｀*)

Rich taste of butter and spice.

And mutton curry. Butter chicken curry is not spicy at all, so I choiced a spicy one.

あと辛いのも食べたいからマトン（`･ω･´）

Both of those curries had much meats in it.

This is too much for me. I couldn’t eat up by myself. My friend helped me 😛

When we got out of the restaurant, there was very very long waiting line.
