Visiting Shichifukujin is interesting !
I visited Narashino Shichifukujin(Seven Lucky Gods) 1st January.
Visiting Shichifukujin is called “Shichifukujin-meguri” in Japanese.
I have known Shichifukujin-meguri since last February.I had not known before.
There are many Shichifukujin-meguri all over the country.
But most of Shichifukujin-meguri is held only during the New Year’s holiday.
I was waiting for about 11 months!
At first, I decided to go visiting Shichifukujin at Narashino, near my house.
In fact, I went to Narashino Shichifukujin-meguri last August.
I heard it is held on the 7th of every month.
But
There was not an ink pad except Muryo-ji 🙁
I went home with square piece of fancy paper that I bought it at Muryo-ji that day.
1.Yakushi-ji(1-17-14, Okubo, Narashino-shi)
Benzaiten(god of warriors)
2.Muryo-ji(2-13-1, Mimomi, Narashino-shi)
Jurojin(god of longevity)
I tried to move to Mimomi station. Strong earthquake is occured just time.I’m waiting for about twenty minutes :(.
I heard the center of the shock is Torishima (Tori Island). Where is Torishima. I don’t know.
3.Jigan-ji(3-6-30, Saginuma, Narashino-shi)
Daikokuten , god of wealth, commerce and trade. Ebisu and Daikoku are often paired and represented as carvings or masks on the walls of small retail shops
Sliding door is not opened because there is a bench in front of it.
4.Saiko-ji(1-2-15, Yatsu, Narashino-shi)
Bishamonten (god of warriors)
5.Tofuku-ji(2-11-7, Yatsu, Narashino-shi)
Ebisu (god of fishers or merchants, often depicted carrying a sea bream)
It is cloudy, so I cannnot take a good picture.
6.Tozen-ji(4-1-21, Tsudanuma, Narashino-shi)
Fukurokuju(god of happiness, wealth and longevity)
7.Shofuku-ji(2-11-9, Fujisaki, Narashino-shi)
Hotei(the fat and happy god of abundance and good health)

Muryo-ji have two stamps. because it is already stamped when I bought it last August.
I want to stamp it by myself 😛
And it is last year’s.
So, I stamped it.
And, there were two stamps at Yakushi-ji, and different pattern.
I’m a greedy, so I stamped both 😛
Pamphlet issued by Keisei says square piece of fancy paper for Narashino Shichifukujin-meguri can be get at every seven temples, but I found it at Muryo-ji only.

If you ask the person of temples, you can get it. But it is hard to find the person of temples.
I took many picture of temples, so I’ll write after about temples.
