Exciting night market !
After it got dark, I went toward Formosa Boulevard station from the hotel.

The street was entirely changed to busy street contrary to that in the evening.
Liuhe Night Market has started!
Stalls are open around 6 p.m.
It’s not too much to say that this trip’s purpose was this market. I was really looking forward to enjoying this market.
Too many people there !
At first, this shop attracted me. Though I ordered mango milk at first, but they didn’t prepare it. Strictly speaking, Taiwan don’t have fresh papaya in November. I didn’t know 🙁
The lady recommended me papaya milk (木瓜牛乳, 50 TWD) instead of mango. So, I ordered it.
I didn’t highly expect. But unexpectedly it was delicious ! Sweet papaya and milk was mixed smoothly 🙂
Because Kaohsiung is port town, they have lots of seafood ! At this market, too !
It looks delicious… But I didn’t know how to order it 🙁
So, I gave up eating it. I have to learn Chinese language at least about foods until next time.
This shop sold deep fried small crabs, so I tried to order.
But somehow I had changed my mind just before ordering.
After all, what in my hand was Deep fried small shrimps (一口蝦, 50 TWD) :p
Its outside was crisp, but inside was fresh. Though it was tasty, there were lots of shrimps ! About 40 prawns ?
I ate half of it and I brought leftover to my hotel.
I found my delight at Taiwan, too ! Grilled squid !
The smell was good ….
The lady cut into small pieces 🙂
It was seasoned with lots of spice ! It’s differ from grilled squid that can be eaten in Japan. But it was delicious, too ! I should have bought more !
I wanted something noodle last and I explored shops.
Among them, I found this shop’s seats were always occupied.
Ta-a noodles (担仔麺, 50 TWD).
The bowl is small. So, I could eat it up even after eating seafood 🙂
I bought tapioca milk tea (珍珠奶茶, 30 TWD) on my way to the hotel.
Most shops in Taiwan adjust the amount of syrup. That’s great !
Of course, I ordered my tea with less syrup !
Of course, I ate leftover deep fried small prawn with the milk tea :p
