Funabashi : Stand-up-eating sushi restaurant

Delicious sushi set at inexpensive price.

I had wanted to eat at Kikkou near JR Funabashi station.I lived near the sushi shop 7 years ago.
This is stand-up sushi shop.

立ち食いのお寿司屋さん。吉光。ついに行ってきたどー！(｀・ω・´)ﾉ

I thought stand-up sushi shop is for men,especially older men when I was young.
So,I didn’t have the courage to go the shop. But,recently I have changed my thought.
I decided to go wherever I want to go.
Because I´m already over 30 years.I don’t have much opportunity to do something left 🙁

I was surprised that the sushi shop was really narrow. Only counter table. Tough-looking sushi chefs were very closely to me.

I ordered Tokujo Zushi set (特上寿司, 1000 yen).

There is no chopsticks. Eating by own hands 😛
There are faucets and sink for washing hands under the counter table.
Of course there are no towels, you have to have your handkerchief 😀
(But a man besides me wiped his hands on his clothes :P)

これが特上寿司。予想以上に質がよく満足！

It is really inexpensive ! Sea urchin and shrimps were sweet and good.

O-toro and lean meat of tuna, I didn’t like its string a bit, but not bad. It is high cost performance above all.

Makizushi. There was lean meat of tuna in it.

巻きずし。

I have regret that I hadn’t been to such a valuable sushi shop until the time.
I do want to go there again.
