Conger eel specialty shop in front of gate of Tsukiji Market

Recently I work so hard, so I had gorgeous lunch during lunch break at Kichiya 🙂
Kichiya is open until 3:30 p.m. in the daytime. So, I visited there around 2:00 p.m. There was no guests when I got to there.

Kaisen bakashi (海鮮ばかし, 2100 yen)
The set have tamagoyaki and miso soup.

Kaisen means seafood. And bakashi is this shop’s specialty, boiled conger eel with soy sauce like eel.
You can enjoy boiled conger eel and sashimi bowl at one time.

The rice is vinegared rice.

Sashim side. Tuna, red sea bream, ark shell, salmon and greater amberjack. I didn’t expect this bowl have so much slices of sashimi like this. And needless to say, the freshness was perfect.

Conger eel side. They are professionals about conger eel. The conger eel was soft and tasty, but I think it don’t go with vinegared rice.. ordinary rice might be better. And also I wanted to eat conger eel more.

Lunchtime at Kichiya is special for me and I want go there when I’m busy working 🙂
