Kashigashira’s seafood curry continue enveloping !

This is a sequel of the Kashigashira 1/2 yesterday 🙂

Nigiri (握り).
Pickled tuna and giant clam.
Giant clam that is served at Kashigashira is good. But basically, I never meet good giant clam at the restaurant.

握りは鮪のヅケとシャコ。河岸頭でだけ、シャコがおいしいと思える・・・

I could eat much good giant clam when I was a child. Because I lived a rural district near the sea.

Siliqua alta steeped in sake and steamed (オオミゾ貝の酒蒸し).
I didn’t know this shell at all. It was a little hard, but it was so tasty.

ミズダコから時計回りに、黒ムツ、アジ、ブリ、ヒゲダラ、サバ、ヤガラ、キンキ。黒ムツとミズダコが美味しかったなぁ・・・。

From North Pacific giant octopus clockwise, kuromutu, horse mackerel, yellowtail, armored weasel-fish, mackerel, kichiji rockfish, cornetfishes.
And garfish in the center foreground of the picture, chu-toro was in the back.

It was simply grilled with salt and pepper.
I ate it with chopsticks daintily, but to tell the truth, I wanted to bite into them 😛

アツアツで出てきたアゴ焼き。見てたらおなかすいてきた(;´Д`)

*Pecten albicans tempura (板屋貝の天ぷら).
I had eaten this shell few times, too. It looked like scallops, but it had little taste. But Kashigashira often serves such a rare shells. It is very interesting.

イタヤ貝もあんまし食べたことないなー。物珍しかったけど、味は普通・・・。

Chikuzen-ni (筑前煮).

鯨のウネスの入った筑前煮。ちょっと脂きつかったな・・・(;´Д`)

Ordinary chikuzen-ni is chickens stew with taro, carrot, burdock, etc.
But this dish had whale’s bacons on behalf of chickens. It was fatty for me. As you see, whale’s fat was coating other ingredients.

Seafood curry (海鮮カレー).
The ingredients were scampi, oysters, scallops and so forth.
I heard that the manager got scampi that day luckily and used for the curry.
Gorgeous appearance.

The organizer prepared the cheese cake for dessert at Yokoyama 🙂
