Kashigashira’s special treat !

I was looking forward to have a dinner at Kashigashira again.
And my wish came true.  My friend asked me to join the dinner party 😀

On arriving at Kashigashira, such a welcome message was waiting for us 🙂

First of all, antipasto came.

箸でつかむのたぁーいへん!

This was the first time to eat sea cucumber. I found it have funny texture ! It was difficult for me to catch the sea cucumber with chopsticks!

Then Nigiri (にぎり) came. Pickled tuna with homemade sauce, salted and vinegared mackerel. I felt the marinated tuna was not better than last time. Last time’s marinated tuna was great.

マテ貝の酒蒸し。初めて聞いたし初めて見た(`・ω・´)

What is razor clam ? I didn’t know the existence. But I found it is long clam like pen and the taste was very nice.

It was boiled until it is soft.

Assorted sashimi (お刺身盛り合わせ)
From silver one on left, chicken grunt,Pacific herring,American butterfish,kelp bass, largehead hairtail,kichiji rockfish, horse mackerel and Armored weasel-fish. And toro of tuna at the center of the dish. Kelp bass was best for me, but they were all tasty.

Lots of seafood ingredients. Asari clam, scallops, round clam, oyster and shrimp.
We gathered at Kashigashira for this curry 😀 Delicious. Extremely good !
