I missed seafoods while traveling !!
My friends invited me to Kashigashira the other day.
I came back from Russia by trip and my friend thought I must have missed
Japanese foods, especially fishes and invited meto Kashigashira 🙂
At first, some dishes came !
Fried Burdock (ごぼうのきんぴら) is this side. Right is Grated yam (長芋のすり流し). And nikogori (jellied fish, 煮凝り) is that side.
Each foods were light and delicious. At Russia, I ate too much sweet desserts and I was fed up. So, I was very pleasant !
White meat fishes balls (白身のつみれ)
Some species of fishes that have white meat was used.
Boiled bamboo shoot with soy sauce (たけのこの煮もの)
Cold pumpkin soup (かぼちゃの冷製スープ). It had much sweetness of pumpkin and it was sooo tasty 😀
Boiled Branchiostegus albus Dooley (白アマダイの煮もの)
The sweetness of Branchiostegus albus Dooley was awesome.
I intended to eat later, but afterall, I forgot eating. Cod chips (たらチップス).
Nigiri (Marinated tuna with soy sauce and very young punctatus, にぎりのまぐろ漬けと新子)
Assorted sashimi (刺身盛り合わせ). Yeah, I can’t understand which is which.
rorqual tail, branchiostegus albus Dooley, ark shell, hen clam, splendid alfonsino, flathead, striped grunt, vinegared mackerel and chu-toro.
Everything was tasty, but No.1 was rorqual tail. It texture was smooth and it didn’t seem whale. I think whale have more chewy texture.
And the degrees of vinegar of mackerel was just for me 😀
And the seaweeds were good.
Grilled chin of tuna with salt (まぐろのアゴ焼き)
Matsutake mushrooms chawanmushi (松茸の茶わん蒸し)
Chawanmushi with matsutake mushroom
Thick pieces of matsutake in it.
Plenty of flavor of matsutake mushroom spread out in my mouse.
Deep fried sandwiched pike conger between lotus root (ハモのれんこん挟み揚げ)
Raw oysters from Konbumori, Hokkaido (北海道の昆布森産牡蠣). So rich taste ! Awesome !
I hadn’t eaten such a flavory oyster !!!
But, after a while, we found that was not last food.
Rice porridge came last. But I forgot taking the photo.
But the rice porridge was sooo tasty.
At first, I thought I can’t eat up, but it was delicious and finally I could eat up !
