Tsukiji : Sashimi bowl at Kashigashira while working (河岸頭)

Kashigashira while working is not recommended

I had lunch at Kashigashira when I had a break in my work the other day, but I was really sorry from the bottom of my heart 😛

I should not have been there.

I shouldn’t have eaten such Assorted sashimi bowl (海鮮丼, 2000 yen). Code roe, octopus, ark shell, greater amberjack, lean meat of tuna, horse mackerel, sea urchin. Everything was delicious.

But such a beautiful bowl…

and such a tasty boiled chin of tuna with soy sauce made me ….

Kashigashira’s assorted sashimi bowl is the best sashimi bowl around Tsukiji as its looking and its quality, I think. It’s like jewelry box !
I hadn’t seen such a beautiful bowl ! It cost me 2000 yen. But I think It is well worth the price !

People who tried kashigashira’s sashimi bowl might know. Some pieces of seafood like boiled young sardine, cod roe and so forth is hidden bottom of the bowl. I think it is Kashigashira-style. I hadn’t seen such a bowl at other restaurants. That’s great idea 🙂

Though it is completely packed on weekends lunchtime, sometime there are some vacant seats around 1:20 p.m  on weekdays. So I recommend you come to Kashigashira on weekdays if you want to visit Kashigashira at lunchtime 🙂

I’ll go Kashigashira tomorrow, too and I’ll post about it later 😉

  1. Mike Lutz says:

Lol. In Hawaii it’s called kanak attack, when you get tired after eating. Looks great.

  2. Your description of the bowl as a “jewelry box” is perfect. It looks gorgeous and sounds like it was equally fabulous tasting. What a delight.
