Watching manager’s cooking is really fun !

I want to eat at Kashigashira regularly. And I went to there again the other day 😉

The manager showed us the lump and said, “This yellowfin tuna is great !”
Of course, we decided to eat it 😀

We could look the manager handling a kitchen knife from our table. Also arms’ muscle 😉 
He handled a kitchen knife expertly to fillet a fish.

We ate the raw whitebait (生しらす) while waiting.

Kashigashira get only fresh seafoods or curious seafoods that they happen to get. So, we can’t meet raw young sardines at the restaurant everytime.

After finished eating the raw young sardines, our assorted sashimi (刺し盛り) came !

キハダマグロ、本鮪、イシダイ!

From right to left as clockwise, chu-toro of yellowfin tuna, lean meat of yellowfin tuna, parrot fish, lean meat of Pacific bluefin tuna and marinated lean meat of yellowfin tuna with soy sauce. O-tro of yellowfin tuna was in the center of the dish.

The lean meat of yellowfin tuna was great ! That’s amazing. Awesome !

The parrot fish was good, too.

Red meat of yellow fin tuna. Raw and marinated with soy sauce. The raw had a fishy smell a bit. The red meat was removed by marinating with soy sauce and it got sticky texture.

And that day, we happened to meet our acquaintance and we could eat seafood curry that he ordered.Grateful to him! Thanks 😉

Seafood curry, Kashigashira (Tsukiji)

そして久々に食べたシーフードカレー!

This is the seafood curry. sword fish, scallop, surf clam, bigfin reef squid and so on. Much seafood in it ! It had much soup made from channel rockfish, longtooth grouper , splendid alfonsino etc. Gorgeous !!!

This was the third time to eat curry at Kashigashira. Kashigashira’s curry is progressing !!!
But this curry is not on the menus. You have to reserve many portions in advance.
Why ? Because it takes so much time.And they have to get much seafoods for it.
