Hi, Ikenoya. Long time no see. What’s up ?
I had lunch at Ikenoya after a long long absence.
Long time has really passed since I visited there last.
My target was deep fried oysters. But to my sorrow, there wasn’t the name on the menus.
Instead of that I ordered sea urchin and leftover fresh on tuna’s spine. But to my great disappointed, it was already sold out.
I saw menus for a while and found saury thought it was already in winter.
Because I ate grilled saury with salt only one time this season, I ordered it. 780 yen.
As soon as I ordered, my lunch was served.
I had a bad feeling about this.
It seemed not hot. I like my grilled saury with salt very hot.
I need sound like a frying fat about my saury !
Grilled fish set have another one small food. We could choose one from karaage, stuffed cabbage and mentaiko bowl that day.
I like this shop’s minced cutlet, but they didn’t prepare it that day.
So, I ordered karaage. Three pieces of smaller size of karaage.
Though it was tasty, but it wasn’t hot, too.
It was by far from “very hot” all the same. Its meat was rather hot, but the skin was entirely cool.
What happened to them ?
The number of staffs seemed to be lessen than ever.
Perhaps they don’t want to cook troublesome foods like deep fried foods. But I love their deep fried foods !
