Funabashi have some good Indian foods restaurants
We had dinner at Indian foods restaurant near Funabashi station the other day.
It is an old Indian foods restaurant.
Gandhi
ガンディー。名前からして、佇まいからして、結構古い。老舗のインド料理屋。
My drink was Indian beer.
HAYWARDS5000 (600 yen)
甘くてジュースみたいなビール。飲みやすいです。結構好き(*´д｀*)
What is “5000” ?
Anyway, it was sweet like juice. It was easy to drink. I like it 🙂
Somehow, my glass was Kingfisher’s 😛
We ordered “Gandhi special curries set for two person” (3500 yen). We could select two curries from some curries.
Salad.
インド料理屋さんのサラダはドレッシングがいまいちなことが多い。ここも(ﾉ∀`)
Assorted tandoori foods.
サモサ、えび、チキンの盛り合わせ。
Samosa, shrimps and chicken.
Those shrimps and chicken was spicy.
After we finished eating the tandoori foods, our curries came.
食べ終わる頃、カレー一式も登場～
We chose butter chicken curry and eggplant keema curry.
カレーはバターチキンとなすキーマ。
The level of every curries could be chosen. We didn’t say anything, so the chef might serve our curries with medium degree of spiciness. Both was not spicy.
The butter chicken curry was sweet.
Ah, we ate butter chicken curry last time, too. and we ordered our butter chicken curry with more spicy at that time.
The curry wasn’t spicy but chickens in it were extremely spicy 😛
Naan
これは何だね？－ナンでしょ？(ﾉ∀`)
Dessert after meal. Kulfi.
食後のデザート。クルフィ。
Chai was included in the set.
食後にチャイがついていました。
Truthfully speaking, I like Sarnath a little far from Funabashi station best. But it is always fully packed and there are many people waiting in front of the restaurant.
But this restaurant is good, too and there aren’t many people because there are so many restaurants around there and the restaurant looks gloomy from outside.
