Peach or plum ?
The hot days still continue, however, autumn has already come for fruits.
So, I went to Fukunaga Fruits Parlor to eat peach parfait that I had lost my chance to eat last summer.
The cafe occupies second floor of the small building, and there were much people waiting on the stairs.
Everyone who came and saw the line was embarrassed.
But basically, most people got out of the cafe as soon as they finish eating parfait.
So, I thought we won’t have to wait so long.
I thought we would wait for not more than 15 minutes.
Rather than that kind of thing, I was so uneasy!
I was very worried that peach parfait being sold out !
I looked for peach in the refrigerator outside, but I couldn’t find any peaches.
I was all eyes uneasily,,, and I became aware of a carton box at the corner.
After a while, our turn came. Actually we waited for about 15 minutes 🙂
Summer parfaits were two kinds of fruits. Peach and plum.
Of course, I choiced a peach parfait (桃パフェ, 950 yen) !
The fresh of peach was sooooo sweet. The sorbet was good, too. Very very juicy ! Maybe because of the sweetness of peach, the mascut on it was sour a bit.
My friend choiced plum parfait (プラムパフェ, 900 yen).
I tasted it, but I felt it too sour.
He enjoyed and said “this sourness is good !”, but I didn’t really like it.
Well, I love sweet fruits like peach 😀
A few days later, I felt like eating peach parfait again and tried going to there, but I confirmed in advance, and I heard “Peach parfait ended yesterday. And fig parfait has started !” Oh, no ! (>_<)
So, I bought and drunk a peach juice that day with patience.
It is 100% fresh juice from Yamagata prefecture 🙂
