Notice : Dilani’s Sri Lankan Curry quit her business and went back to Sri Lanka. (May, 2014)
Sri Lankan curry buffet on weekdays only.
I have been interested in Sri Lankan curry since I ate Sri Lankan curry at Ceylon Drop the other day.
So, I searched other Sri Lankan restaurant that serves nice Sri Lankan curry. And I found.
Dilani’s Sri Lankan curry
Dilani is woman’s name. Ms.Dilani open her restaurant only workdays’ lunchtime.
Strictly speaking, it is not her own restaurant. She rent the restaurant during workdays’ lunchtime only and serve her dishes.
There was small buffet table near the wall.
Yes, Ms.Dilani prepare lunch buffet.
This is the rule.
1. Choice “Today’s soup curry” whether sweet or spicy ?
2. Choice your drink. whether cold mango juice or hot ginger tea ?
3. Dish up rice, dal curry, vegetables curry and salads on one plate as you want
4. It cost you 800 yen.
So, I dished up my meal like this 🙂
Today’s curries were daal curry and mushrooms curry.
I couldn’t eat a lot, so I dish up small rice 🙂 But my curries were a lot 😛
Ms. Dilani served spicy soup curry to me. Spicy one 😀
Today’s soup curry was beef tendon curry. So spicy.
Ms.Dilani said, “Please mix everything together and eat”
At first, I ate three kinds of “curries” separately.
Though Ms.Dilani said there are three curries, but I didn’t think so.
Those were not completed curries.
Dal curry – loose paste
Mushroom curry – ingredients
Soup curry – soup
One perfect curry was made by mixing three “curries” together, I felt.
Anyway, Ms.Dilani’s curry was great !
After the meal, ginger tea came.
Sweet and tasty. I felt warm by ginger’s power.
On my way to the station from the restaurant, I found the signboard.
