Sakura prawn, canola flower, bamboo shoot…
I went to Tsukiji Market on a Saturday with my friends.
I usually go there on weekdays’ early morning, but it differ from Saturdays’ market in terms of the congestion.
Saturdays’ market is so crowded.
Avoiding the crowd, we went toward the outer market to eat tempura.
I left everything to my friend 🙂
Choseian
Soba restaurant.
I had been to there only once. So I knew the restaurant serves good tempura 🙂
This is a picture of that time.
The restaurant recommended sakura shrimp. Well, taste of Spring !
We ordered a half-boiled egg tempura, conger eel tempura, minced duck meat cutlet and assorted spring taste of tempura
Boiled beef with soy sauce (牛肉の醤油煮)
It had a strong taste, so it would go with rice well, I thought.
Half-boiled egg tempura (半熟卵天)
As you see, the yolk of the egg was raw 🙂
I’ll order it every time !
Conger eel tempura (穴子のてんぷら)
Conger eel’s meat was soft, and its coating was crisp. I ate it with salt. The salt is very effective in increasing its sweetness.
Minced duck meat cutlet (鴨メンチ)
Minced duck meat was juicy and tasty. Macaroni salad was good too,
Assorted Spring taste tempura (春の天ぷら盛り合わせ)

How exciting !
Spring on the dish !
From this side as a right-hand turn, garfish wrapped beefsteak plant, whitebait, rape blossoms, ostrich fern and fatsia sprouts, bamboo shoot, asparagus and sakura shrimp fritter. Everything was lightly crisp 🙂
I was very sad because winter had gone (In winter, there are a lot of seafoods that I love)
But I felt Spring in my mouth and I thought Spring is not bad 🙂
