Charity curry event was held !
I went to charity curry event that time, too. The charity event curry is held twice every year from 2011.
As same as last time, three fancy restaurants, Ginza Lecrine, Chez Inno and apicius took part in the event.
They develop special curry just for the event every time and serve it for 1000 yen.
You don’t have to reserve and buy tickets in advance.
You have only to go there and stand in a queue and keep waiting. And then waiter take you to the seat in the restaurant. After a while, waiter serve your curry 🙂
And also there is no dress code the days only.
We arrived at L’ecrin one hour before the restaurant opened and we found that there were already about 200 people waiting along the building !!!
We stood in the rear of the line and waited for about two hours. We took a rest for a minutes in turns in Matsuya Ginza…
But we managed to stand because we could stay in the shade by the building for a long time.
The restaurant is underground of the building and the light was not bright, so, I felt the ceiling was low. I felt uneasy just a little because I have a claustrophobia.
L’ecrin’s curry that time was Curry with hamburger steak (ハンバーグカレー) !
That hamburger steak was great !! The curry was not spicy at all so as curry, it was not good. But as sauce of the hamburger steak, it was good sauce !!
Very tasty. The hamburger steak was made from shorthorn beef of Tamura Farm. It had good texture of beefmeat. It went with ketchup rice well.
After we got out of the L’ecrin, we went to Chez Inno by walk for getting space for next curry in our stomach 😛
Chez Inno, We went to there last time, too. Chez Inno have good space to wait. Completely in the shade 🙂
We thought we could wait for hours.
But ! When we got to there, we found there were only 50 people there. Oh my !!!!
We wanted to wait at least two hours because we were full in our stomach !! Especially I was !!!
Disappointingly, we could enter the restaurant after only 40 minutes waiting ….. !
Chez Inno’s curry was Curry with omlet (オムレツカレー)
The omelet was so soft .
It was more spicy than L’ecrin’s. It was curry.
The curry was like soup.
The grilled tomato was good, too.
Afterall, I couldn’t eat up because I was over full. I ate up just the omelet. My friend ate my curry and rice up 😛
Which was good ?
Well, as curry, I preferred Chez Inno’s.
But I want to eat L’ecrin’s hamburger steak again !!!
The next event will be held in November !
